From the idea
to the prototype

THE STORY

The XBull Story started three years ago. At "Three Friends-Three Beers" the idea was born. The idea became a project, a company and now the first prototype. With the unique offroad camper - the Xbull we set new standards. High-level in small series - developed and built in our XManufaktur. XBULL - 100% wild - zero compromises The result is a year-round all-wheel camper based on the Mercedes MaxiSprinter, each one unique in a limited small series - developed by three individualists:

"HAVE AND IMPLEMENT IDEAS"

Already as a teenager I was enthusiastic about outdoor sports and early came the necessary gasoline in the blood. I have remained true to windsurfing, skiing, enduro sports and biking to this day.

I want to be flexible and very close to the hotspots, or even better in the middle and my equipment is always with me. So the vision developed into a new type of 4×4 camper van.

I am burning to expand the XBull as flexibly and ingeniously as possible and thus set new standards.

I have been deeply rooted in nature since my youth, am ambitious in sports and love camping. In summer we go to the sea for surfing and in winter to the mountains for skiing.

My father already built self-designed sailboats and caravans and inspired me early for individual models and extensions.

With the XBull- project now my dream comes true, the construction of a self-constructed outdoor camper.

I have always found my own way, away from the mainstream and well-trodden paths.

I love to travel individually, the original nature and I am always looking for the little adventure. Of course, for this you need a good companion, a perfectly equipped four-wheel camper that allows you the freedom to be free.

After many experiences with vans and conversions, I wanted to finally develop and launch a perfect SUV camper myself with the XBull - a companion without compromise.

2019

2020

  • first drawings and designs
  • Founding of XBull GmbH
  • Preparation for the construction of a prototype with 1:1 wooden model
  • Involvement of regional partners such as MostVanted in the course of the project

2021

  • Delivery of 20 vehicles Mercedes Maxi Sprinters with 4×4 Igleskin all-wheel drive
  • Start of prototype build with competence team 
  • Construction of our X-Manufaktur for the production of the small series in Eisenach
  • Completion of the prototype and start of the test phase  
  • Preparation and planning of the production of 20 SUV camper XBull.
  • Sales start 2022
